New transport in Berlin

Our sponsor BCIX helped us to increase transport capacity between the locations L105 and A36 in Berlin. We now have 2x 40G available between both locations. If we can update our switches at A36 at some time, this can increase to 2x 100G. The crossconnects to BCIX are sponsored by the colocation providers I/P/B/ and Speedbone.

In addition, BCIX provided a passive DWDM system for connections between BCIX and Community-IX at our location N15 in Berlin. This makes it possible to increase capacity to BCIX and connect some new peers next year without ordering new crossconnects.
